Ricia Williams is celebrating her five-year work anniversary with Angels Senior Home Solutions. From joining us as a caregiver to now office coordinator who also leads the Chaplain program, Ricia wears many hats. After providing home care for a family friend, Ricia realized how rewarding it was and that’s how her journey to becoming a caregiver began.
“Clients can get very attached to their caregivers and vice versa; it can definitely feel like family,” Ricia said.
A memorable moment Ricia recalled was celebrating a client’s 100th birthday. She made it special for this veteran by reaching out to all his family, arranging congratulations from state government officials and even the President of the United States. Ricia appreciated the opportunity to celebrate someone who turned 100 and served our country to help secure our freedom.
“I have had moments when I wished that I had known about this type of work opportunity earlier, but thankful for these past 5 years and however many years lie ahead for me,” Ricia said.
In her spare time, Ricia loves to make memories with her family, serve at her church and make items by crocheting/sewing.
