Our Regional Office Manager, Carolyn Butera, keeps things running smoothly all throughout the year. She is in charge of daily operations from office budgeting to addressing client/caregiver concerns — she goes wherever she is needed.
Starting out as a caregiver, Carolyn fell in love with the work Angels provides, and those caregiver skills taught her invaluable skills that carry her through her work today. She loves that Angels is a team of passionate people that like to lift each other up and give credit where credit is due.
“We are living our mission to create active and engaged lives through exceptional care,” Carolyn said.
During her first yearly planning day, Carolyn knew for a fact that she was at the right job. She felt in her heart that she was in a good place surrounded by even better people. The Angels team is full of people here for the right reasons and their attitudes reflect that.
“Angels isn’t just for seniors! I know our name says so, but we can service anyone who needs help. Currently our youngest client is 29 and our oldest is 104,” Carolyn said.
Outside of working at Angels, Carolyn’s love of animals shines through. She fosters dogs from local shelters and volunteers with her Certified Therapy Dog, Bea, going to memory care centers, substance abuse centers and long-term care facilities to provide some much-needed smiles. She also enjoys hiking and visiting every national park in the United States is on her bucket list.
